The reports fetched from the /report-summary/ listing endpoint each have the report_type field having values listed in the API schema. Reports can be classified based on that field.
Genetic and Non-genetic Reports
The report types can be divided into two major classifications, genetic and non-genetic.
Genetic reports
All reports having report_type other than non-genetic are genetic reports, which means they are personalized to a specific profile's genome file. Below, genetic reports are further classified.
Standard
All health reports spanning general health areas, having report_type = standard, e.g. "Low Mood", "Inflammation", "Acne", "Joint Pain", etc.
Trait
Reports, having report_type = trait, that tell how your DNA affects your personality and traits, for example traits like agreeableness, tendency to be an introvert or extrovert, tendency to be an early bird or night owl, etc.
Gene
Reports, having report_type = gene, that cover genetic predispositions for single-genes, amino-acids, neurotransmitters and other popular biohacking areas, for advanced users.
Aggregate
Aggregate reports, having report_type = aggregate, collect all the results and recommendations from reports on a single topic, e.g. "Sleep", "Gut Health", "Brain Health", "Bone Health", etc. They provide a single, comprehensive point of access for diving into a particular health topic.
Combined
Combined reports, having report_type = combined, are an extension of aggregate reports. In addition to categorising all information on a topic into sections, they provide further outcome advice depending on the specific combination of sub report results. Currently, there are only two combined reports: "Diet and Nutrition" and "Fitness".
Non-genetic reports
Reports, having report_type = non-genetic, are more like generic blogs that have content similar to other reports, but not specific to individual profiles or their DNA.
